Fritillary ‘Snakes Head’

Today I have been digging over my veg patch at home & sowing seeds, today I sowed Lettuce, Spring Onions, Carrots & Parsnips. All was going well until my Labrador walked all over them! He has a bad paw so I will let him off this time!

It was so nice to be out there in my own garden till 7pm, great fun & it was sunny too. Next I have to dig over the other half & put my Runner Bean sticks in ready for the beans I have planted in pots. I am growing quite a bit this year, I always grow Cosmos & Stocks to sell to customers, they are great fillers, & the Cosmos will flower until end of Oct if you keep dead heading them. The Spring flowers have been gorgeous, the bulbs are pretty much over now except for the lovely ‘snakes head Fritillaries’, I love them especially when teamed with similar colours. I took some pictures of some at my customers house alongside ‘Heuchera’s’.
