Well summer is well and truly amongst us! The extreme heat has made everything flower & then fade very quickly, so lots of dead heading has been happening in peoples gardens. I think it is starting to feel Autumnal, the Liquidambar trees are starting to turn burgundy & the annual bedding plants are turning to seed a bit, although we are all trying frantically to keep them going!

The Echinacea, Lavenders & Hyssop are doing really well in my garden this year, & the bees are just loving it! There have also been some amazing moths around, maybe due to the hot weather, I am not sure. I found an Elephant Hawk Moth in a customers garden, stunning with its beautiful pink/grey colours.

I am already thinking about Autumn planting! That is the beauty of gardening though, always another season to look forward to.

Happy Gardening
